You are working as a patient services manager at the Two Steps Forward Rehabilitation Center. The center is in the process of updating its onboarding practices and materials. For part of the update, the center will be adding a training manual that provides information on procedures, practices, and regulations that must be followed. Because of your knowledge and position, your supervisor has asked you to create a section for the manual. Your section will focus on the laws and regulations that govern and impact healthcare entities. Directions You have been asked to provide 3 to 5 pages of information covering healthcare laws and regulations. Because this is such a broad topic, your supervisor has provided you with guidelines that specify the concepts that need to be included and explained within your section. She emphasizes that the writing needs to be clear, precise, and supported by evidence-based resources. You can refer to the Writing Guide document and the Getting Started With Research guide in the Supporting Materials section for help with this. Additionally, you need to accurately incorporate key healthcare terms and concepts associated with healthcare laws and regulations throughout the document and include information on the following concepts: Part 1: Use resources to gather information on the regulatory agencies, laws, and regulations that your supervisor selected to be included in your section of the training manual.
