I. Introduction
Ethics are at the root of every sane human’s life. In a short description, ethics refer to moral principles or codes people have as guidance. They form part and parcel of everyday life, and it is almost impossible to make a decision without invoking them. As a result, ethics define a person’s character, habit, custom, or disposition. They further are the key to the two-pronged typology of wrong and right or good and bad in society. As a subject, they are wide and cover various fields such as philosophies, religions, and cultures. Ethics can be traced through business, healthcare, values, principles, and rules, but their impact in defining what is positive, unjust, or negative is not simple, and that is what this paper seeks to delve deeper into.
II. Body/Text
In deciphering how ethics came to define what is good or right, it is prudent to scrutinize the phenomenon from different objective angles. In doing this, the research paper will scholarly look at;
Ethics as the origin of moral reality- This will be an overview of how ethics came to be, from the desire to good, religion, God, and other unique situations.
The chronological account of the ethical system- A historical account in detail from the era of key players such as Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle, among others, to the present-day epoch will be looked at. Emphasis will be on the efforts of these distinguished key players in ethical morphology.
The impact of ethics on everyday life today- will reflect how ethics have shaped the different fields today. Emphasis will be on professional sectors such as business, politics, and healthcare.
The advantages of ethics- The research paper will also look at the merits of ethics. It will focus on instances where ethics were blatantly overlooked and subsequently note lessons from such instances.
