Persuasive Speech – submit as Discussion Board
This speech asks you to influence your audience’s attitudes, values, or beliefs through argument. Refer back to the chapter readings and lecture regarding persuasive speaking.
Provide the audience a proposition (of fact, value, or belief) and then support that proposition. The goal is to convince your audience to change a belief or attitude, OR to motivate your audience to act.
Use what you have learned from presenting your first two speeches and refer back to your Persuasive Speech Outline(didnt do this assignment)
A visual aid (presentational aid) is required (this aid should support your idea and/or enhance the speech in some way).
Using outside sources and citing them is required.Use the Problem-Solution Outline Template Download Problem-Solution Outline Templateor the Monroe’s Motivated Persuasive Speech Outline Template Download Monroe’s Motivated Persuasive Speech Outline Templateto create your Outline for next week’s Persuasive Speech. You can find the Template in this Module as well as in the “Resources & Study Tools” section of Canvas.
Use your previous readings and this outline to guide your speech.
Outlines should be submitted as a word attachment.
Reference Page: Any speech that utilizes outside sources will require a reference page. (Meaning, only if all the materials of your speech came from first-hand experience would you not need a reference mage, i.e. how to perform a task you complete on a regular basis for your job). If you bring in facts, statistics, quotes, etc. you will need a reference page. These should be completed using APA format.
