One aspect of our identity is gender. As a boy or a girl, how were you socialized into learning what was considered culturally appropriate behavior for your gender (I realize, of course, that some of you may no longer identify with that gender or you may be gender non-binary)? Where did you learn these cultural norms, and which gender lessons were the most significant in shaping your sense of self? What are one or two memories from your childhood that were the first time you learned that you should or shouldn’t do something because of your gender? Do you think the gender expectations you were raised with were unique to your racial/ethnic background? Explain
(Just a little background about me I am from afghanistan and i am a girl)
