Students
will select a small company
or non-profit and
develop a marketing plan following the guidelines
in the course preparing a cover page, table of contents,
executive summary (on a page by itself),
situational analysis,
SWOT Analysis, marketing goals and
objectives, marketing
strategy, marketing implementation, evaluation, and
control, and reference
page. The project should be a minimum of 10
pages (which does
not include the cover page, table of contents, reference,
or
appendices). A minimum
of
10 good reliable references are required.
Marketing Plan Project Writing Guidelines:
1.
The cover
page can contain graphics
and should include
students name, course name, and Bellevue
University.
2.
The assignment
needs to be double spaced
with a 12 pt. font.
3.
Sub-titles need to
be utilized
according to current
APA guidelines and reflect
the subject being discussed.

4.
All sources used
outside of the text should
be
scholarly articles or solid
dependable non- scholarly sources.
5.
Use an endnote
(Author, Date) followed
by
a period to properly
cite all information.
6.
Include a reference page, listing
all
sources used (in alphabetical order) in proper
APA format.
Marketing Plan PowerPoint Presentation (20 possible points):
Prepare to present your findings
and recommendations to the Board of Directors for your Marketing
Plan. Your objective is to persuade
the board to approve your recommendations for changes in their marketing
strategy and all phases of implementation.
Since this is the
Board of Directors, do not provide historical,
or
background information about the company
unless it is key to the rationale of your recommendations.
Your presentation
should include:
1.
Findings
uncovered in the SWOT analysis
that are the basis for
your
recommendation.
2.
Overall
strategy recommendation based on
competitive advantage.
3.
Analysis and
description of target audience as it applies
to this strategy.
4.
Strategy decisions in all 4 areas of Product, Price, Distribution
and Communications and rationale.
5.
Implementation plan
and conclusions.
6.
You must include
notes or record the presentation via
Collaborate to simulate
a live presentation.
