Hello! Thank you so much for working on my Literature Review Paper Here are the instructions below:
< < Communication Theories Section V01 Spring Semester 2022 CO < You have worked on your introduction to the literature review (topic and purpose statement, 2 pages), as well as your annotated bibliography, and have received my feedback on both. < First, you will start by revising your introduction, and placing it at the start of your literature review. Make it seamless with the rest of your paper. < Here is an excerpt of my introduction and the topic question that the literature review is on: < < < (MY TOPIC QUESTION) < How might social media posts influence negative judgment, and affect future hiring potential, viewed through the lens of social judgment theory? < Social media has become a fundamental way to learn information about mostly everything about a person, including employers seeking details about a potential hire. Over time, we develop an intimacy with technology and we get about the disadvantages, which can ultimately cause more harm than good to many of us. Some people tend to live in the moment and disregard the essence of social media conduct. However, companies have a strict code of conduct that is to be observed and followed. Many people believe that this is unfair and passes judgment/ discrimination on potential employees. These people believe they should not have to compromise their social media pages for the sake of their job. I believe that this particular topic is a great way to explore social judgment theory. This theory helps support this question because the two go hand and hand with one another. The social judgment theory greatly fits the situation of this question. < < < < You will then take the 7 entries (yes, you must have a minimum of 7 sources for your literature review) in your annotated bibliography and present the research you’ve reviewed about your research question/topic in an academic essay. This means you will not copy/paste your annotated bibliography into the paper, or simply list descriptions of the articles you’ve read—you will use the annotated bibliography as a tool to write an essay where you present your own claims (using the articles as evidence to your claims). ( Hello during this part of the assignment you can choose any sources or articles that coincide with the topic question I chose to coincide with the paper.) < The purpose of the literature review is to: < describe what is known about your topic so far, < compare and contrast the different studies related to your topic, and < describe what we should study next—as it relates to your research question. For instance, you should tell us if there is there a gap in the literature, something missing, next steps, or if the results of the studies you review are mixed, and we need further study on the topic. < This section will be very similar to other academic papers you’ve likely written before, and will likely take 4-6 pages. I would expect you to make approximately 5 claims and back them up with evidence (the articles you’ve read). < < Then, you should add a conclusion (1-2 pages) to your literature review. Your conclusion will: < summarize the claims in your literature review in one paragraph, < < tell us what you think the implications will be with further study on your topic. You will include both practical/real-life implications and scholarly/academic implications. For example, there may be implications for communication professionals that require further research on your topic. It is very likely there will be both practical and academic implications for further study on your topic, and you should include a paragraph on each. < < Make sure your final paragraph ties back in to your purpose statement (papers that use the conclusion to tie back to the introduction are typically VERY strong papers!) and wraps up your literature review assignment. < Finally, you will be certain to use APA formatted in-text citations, and include a title page (no need for an abstract page) and an APA references page. Make sure to use page number citations if you quote or paraphrase. If I provided revisions for your citation style in the annotated bibliography, please make sure to include those revisions. Your paper should be 9 to 12 pages (title = 1, introduction = 2, main body of the paper = 4-6, conclusion = 1-2, references= 1), in total. <
