Part 1: Based on what you learned in the reading (attached as Part 1), pick 2 benefits, a legally required benefit and a discretionary benefit that interest you. Pick an organization (United States Army will be the organization) and talk about how your organization administers them. Then, for the required benefit, conduct some research to learn more about how local, state, or federal laws impact that benefit. For the discretionary benefit, discuss some of the implications of the benefit for the SHRM (such as retention, recruitment, equity, budgeting, etc.).
Please cite specific readings in your answer and describe how these readings relate to your response (theory to practice).
Part 2: For your discussion post this week, 1. include a general response to the required reading (Labled as Part 2.1, 2.2, 2.3). 2. Then use the stakeholder analysis chart (use file attached) to brainstorm key audiences for an issue of your choice. This topic will be **DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion)**. Start with potential key groups, then brainstorm relevant values and interests, and then some back and forth. You do not need to complete the middle, just the left column and top row. You can also look over the water example of that exercise (also attached) you like, but you don’t need to come up with as many groups. ****Part 1 and Part 2 are completlely separate. Do not cross refernece the two. Each part should be equal in length***

Select two (2) leadership styles covered in the Week 3 module that approach lead

Select two (2) leadership styles covered in the Week 3 module that approach leadership in different (almost contradictory) ways. Compare and contrast both leadership styles and how they apply (or do not apply) in a public safety organization. Answer the following questions:
Can different leadership styles that appear to be contradictory approaches be used effectively in the same organization. Why or why not?
How do they impact each other?
Which appears to be more effective? Least effective? Why?
Give examples from your own experiences or observations that illustrate the use of these leadership styles.
