For Applied Project Prospectus, we will be working on headings: Participants & Positionality; Analytical Methods; Assumptions & Limitations; Primary Audience, Anticipated, Deliverables & Contributions; Ethical Considerations; and Work Plan Schedule. Refer to the  🛑  Applied Project Prospectus.  

Purpose: draft data methods and analysis for project prospectus

Task:

Provide the following sections of information:

Participants & Positionality (5 points)

identify the participants. Sample population and why the sample was chosen in the context of your research. Describe yourself in the research context.

Analytical Methods (5 points)

Identify the methodology for your project. How will you analyze the data? What are your initial assumptions about the project. What are the limitations. Describe the ethical considerations of your research. Explain how you have accounted for potential bias in your project design, data collection, analysis, and delivery.

Assumptions and limitations (5 points)

State the initial assumptions about the project’s methods. Identify the project’s limitations of the methods.

Primary Audience, Anticipated Deliverables, and Contribution (5 points)

Who is the primary audience? Explain the deliverable for the project. What do you think the contribution of your project will be to the organization or organization leadership? Do not use personal pronouns!

Ethical Considerations (5 points)

Explain how you ensured that your research will not harm participants how you protected the participants dignity and privacy. Acknowledge the CITI and IRB wizard, that you do no need additional IRB.

Work Plan Schedule (5 points)

This should be a six-week timeline for OGL593.

    • Explain the contribution of the project without using personal pronouns.

  6. Ethical Considerations (1 paragraph)

    • Explain how participants’ dignity, privacy, and safety will be protected.

    • Acknowledge CITI and IRB wizard review, and note that no additional IRB is needed.

  7. Work Plan Schedule (table or bullet list)

    • Create a six-week timeline with milestones.

    • Example:

      • Week 1: Finalize prospectus draft

      • Week 2: Literature review integration

      • Week 3: Data collection plan refinement

      • Week 4: Initial analysis

      • Week 5: Draft report

      • Week 6: Final revisions and submission

  8. Conclusion (optional, 1 short paragraph)
